sophmore year

Sophomore year has gone by so fast. It seems only yesterday that i was standing in Mr. Mann's class talking about what i liked to do on his video camera. I changed a lot during the coarse of the year, maybe some for the worse, but i think it was mostly for the better.

I nailed down what i wanted to be when i got older, and chose the classes accordingly to get myself ready for that. I feel that I'm better suited to go to college and start that chapter of my life. More prepared to take on the challenges of arriving in the adult world.

This year has brought with it more responsibility's and opportunity's. I now have my temps, working on getting my license. I will start a job to buy a car, and to have money in my pocket to buy the things i need, no longer needing to ask anyone for such. After this year i feel more prepared for my future.

Tattoos

They're permanent, which means they will never just wash away. The only way for you to remove and unwanted tattoo is laser surgery or to get another tattoo to cover up the unwanted one. Be wise in your decisions.

Split second, or unthoughtout ideas for tattoo's almost never turn out well. You like them in the moment, or even for a year or two, but sooner or later you might find you regret the once incredible idea you had.

Take your time to rationaly decide if you even want to get a tattoo. Take a minute and think if you will want this down the road. Contemplate the importance of it to you. All things considered, just be consiouse of what you decide.

Things we write with

Our writing utensils sure have changed throughout history. Starting from sticks and dirt to a feather and an ink well; to wooden pencils to the oh so infamous mechanical pencils.

Now of days the most common thing someone would choose to write with would be a ball point pen, mechanical pencil, or a good old fashioned wood pencil. It is not a big decision for some, but for me i would by far rather work with a mechanical pencil above all others.

Pens make my handwriting a lot more sloppier then normal, so i like to use them the least. But wooden pencils make my writing fat, and sometimes hard to read. The mechanical pencil handles well, and writes thin. This is why i favor them.

Water

Water, it keeps everything alive, without it, everything would surely perish. Irony, 73 percent of our planet is covered by such a precious substance, but only about three percent of it is drinkable. Pure, to an extent, in so many places water that us Americans wouldn't fill our dogs bowl's with passes as what is to be drank.

So much water is wasted, we rarely realize that this is what is happening. Showers that last too long. Excessive plant watering. Pool cleaning and pump running on those hot summer days. We think that water is in an abundance to us, but we must come to realize that while we squander such a necessity, we will surely run out one day. We should use less of such a needed resource.

Also in our quest to use our beloved more wisely, we need to think of those who do not have access to such luxuries as we. This might be used as our motivation. So many people go without water, or have to make due with unclean water. This considering why do we waste so much of it every day??

Filler Words

Bored, sitting in class, i have nothing to write my blog over. No required topics, and none that are flying out at me off of the dome. I sit and stare at a blank screen, the lights bluring my vision, as i stare so hard. This is ridiculouse i think to myself.

Then all of the sudden a topic jumps out at me, write about nothing! Stall and fill with words, such beautifull tools. They can fill up and inflate any paper to its required length. Words can either make a story magnificent, or boring, so you must be carefull with how you word it.

My whole blog has no importance, to anything really. I sit and stare at the paragraphs i've written and though they make sence, this composition will probably help no one. Hopefully by the time our next blog rolls around i will have choosen somthing to write about, and no longer have to use glorious words, to fill out a boring paper, that i am not proud of.

Flowers

Flowers come in all different colors, with so many scents. Flowers have so many different sizes, species, and locations, its hard to know all of them. Beautiful decorations they are, they decorate the world we live in, making such a sad place magnificent.

i truly feel sorry for those who have allergies toward such beautiful things. They miss out on how sweet a flower can smell, how absolutely charming it can be to hold a dandelion beneath your chin. But at least from a far they can admire the eye candy. :)

I have a suggestion for all of you, if you ever have a bad day, where it seems that all is but a loss, take time to smell the roses, it will honestly take your mind off of what ever is troubling you at hand.

Lies

Every one lies. No one is exempt from the fateful cycle. Some lies are small and come out unexpectedly. Some though, are rolling balls down a hill destroying everything in their path. It is so easy to lie, but so hard to tell the truth. Why is that?

When i lie i get a funny feeling in the bottom of my stomach, a sick feeling. The Lie's are a sickness that can eat away at you. Even if no body knows that you lied, it can be such a terrible thing that it destroys you. The only true way to get better, is to tell the truth.

Trust is a funny thing, sometimes easy, or hard to get. But always harder to regain. A feeling worse then leing is knowing that someone doesn't trust you anymore. It makes you feel like a terrible person, someone not worthy of any good after.

A way to avoid all this turmoil, is to just keep in honest, and try not to fall in the trap. But often times this is hard to do. Just try your hardest, good things come to those who have an honest heart.
