For our blog we have to discuss music, and ive already done a peice on music in general, so i think my time in bell chior at church would qualify as an appropriat topic chioce. the music we play in bell chior is maily gospel, hyme, or african jam.
I play bells in St. John lutheran evangelical church on the Hilttop. We have three octives of beatufle bells, and hand chimes. i love bell chior, the bells sound so beautifull to me, and i love the feeling of family within the ringers in the chior.
Every year around March we go to a bell festival, usually held in the fellowship hall of a fellow church in columbus. bell chiors from all around learn a couple peices to play as a group, and each chior has a solo peice. all denonminations of christianity attend these festivals. i truelly is a good place to go and hear rich music.
