The clip we watched on Monday followed the life of marine named James Blake Miller. The clip gave you insight into the life of a marine before, during, and after his time in Fallouja. It told us his story and how he was affected, how it changed his life.
Everyone just assumes that I'm against all that comes with war, they're wrong. I am wholeheartedly against the idea of war. But that's not the only thing their doing in Iraq. they also protect while their there, which is something i condone, right now some soldiers are their protecting innocents from extremest.
But this isn't to say I'm for war, i think you gain nothing from war, but loss. To me the soldier in the video clip verified a lot of what i think and believe. He himself thinks that its unjustifiable to take a life of that of another human being. Now if a soldier himself thinks this, how can we deafen our ears not to hear? The cries of war are screaming, let us not close our hearts, but extend them, to help over sea's to do everything in our possible power to help not hurt.
