The inevitability of seeing a bug throughout the day is very apparent. Bugs are a gross topic for some, but i find them fascinating. Especially Roley Poly bugs, referred to as Pill bugs, Potato bugs, and other various names. So im'a drop some facts on you about the little cutey bugs.
Roley Poly bugs aren't actually bugs at all, their not apart of the insect family, they are part of the crustaceans who live on land. So thees crustaceans don't bite, there completely harmless. They breath through gills, so they have to live in a moist environment, but coincidentally they cant survive under water.
Roley Poly bugs are carried in a pouch like structure on their mom when their still eggs. These crustaceans have blue blood, and when they are dying they turn bright blue. Other strange facts facts about Roley Poly crustaceans are they have blue blood, and when they are close to dying they will turn a bright blue color.
Roley Poly crustaceans have a high tolerance to ammonia gas, so the gas can pass directly through the exoskeleton. this means they don't have to urinate. The reason other creatures have to is because of the low tolerance for ammonia, they must convert their waste, which are high in ammonia, into urea before it can be excreted from the body.
