social networking

there is a lot of controversy over things like texting, face book, e-mail, etc. some say it brings us closer, making communication easier, some say it drifts us apart, abandoning intimate conversation. i myself can see both sides, i don't have a dead set opinion to either. but i myself take part in the social networking.

i have an e-mail account, a face book account, a cell phone i text on. i definitely talk a lot more to certain people with these devices, keeping in touch is easier. but with these i don't talk on the phone anymore, the only person i call is my mom. :)

So i have a foot on each side, maybe i lean a little more to the side favoring these items, because i so often use them. Maybe next time instead of reaching for my cell phone to text a friend ill call them up instead, try and balance my self out.
