It never fails to amaze me how loose people become with the money they make. Expecaily the one's who are ridiculously rich. They spend that money on careless items, that they don't need, or wont use. Recently i heard that the Rupert Grint (the guy off of Harry Potter) had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, of a ice cream truck, a hovercraft, a personalized green Lamborghini, and orange hummer. He did this on the sole purpose of having different things, he was bored.
It seems that so many people now live as kings, as so many more live with nothing more than their dreams. In a world were so many need help we have so many selfish people. Not to say I'm without fault. Buying an extra shirt than i need, when so many people live with only the clothes on their backs. But buying things just because you can, when that money could be used for someone else's food, to me is ludicrous.
People who find it personally offensive to call them out on their behavior need to really look at what's happening. While they buy all these extras and sit back as though nothing is transpiring, they could be feeding someone, clothing them, saving lives with funding that went to the new hummer. I'm not trying to say we cant have nice things, or take pride in what we (some of us others not so much) have worked to achieve, simply i am asking to cut back on the ostentatious behavior. Help a fellow member of our gigantic family, the human race.
